Wheel Blast Equipment

As part of our shot blasting product offering, Delong features top quality, versatile and durable wheel blast designs. The majority of our wheel blast equipment encompasses four basic designs: tumble blast machines, table machines, spinner hanger machines, and continuous or in-line blast designs. Tumble blast machines for batch processing range in size from 1.5 cubic feet to 34 cubic feet, and are available in rubber or steel belts. Table machines for cleaning larger work pieces or structural pieces come in various shapes and sizes, while spinner hanger machines designed to clean parts hanging from an overhead conveyor are used for castings or large parts that cannot be tumbled. Continuous or in-line blast designs, such as roll conveyors, wire mesh belts, or monorails, are appropriate for higher throughput and available in various designs to custom fit the proper machine to your product. All of our wheel blast designs are equipped with the latest blast wheel technology, offering varying speeds and configurations. The blast wheel is a critical component to any machine and our wheels are specifically designed to improve performance and reduce maintenance costs.

Air Blast Equipment

Ideal for a variety of cosmetic finishing and cleaning requirements, Delong’s air blast equipment is used daily to remove rust, mill scale and contaminants for coating or plating preparation. We offer manual and fully automated cabinets, along with custom-engineered systems to handle a versatile range of parts. Additionally, we offer a full range of specialty media of all sizes and types, to complement our air blast designs suited for cleaning, peening, deburring, or finishing metal parts of all types.

Delong’s air blast equipment is compact, and available in suction and pressure blasting and wet blasting systems. Our line of Wet Technologies products feature a liquid abrasive system targeted to your application. Our standard equipment relies on a special design slurry pump for heavy-duty use, extended wear life, and a wide range of concentration and continuous cycle applications.
